Hi there! I’m Menno, an Associate Tech Lead based in the UK.
I focus on working on core systems. This means designing the foundations on which gameplay systems are build, empowering both players and team members. This requires understanding project needs and translating this into planning and code, setting the bar for the rest of the game. Something I very much enjoy the challenge of! As such I prefer collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and learning to understand what technologies we need to bring the game’s vision to life.
In my free time I’m interested in everything retro games. This got me into developing on retro consoles, where I focus on low level optimizations and getting to know systems on a hardware level. I also spend my free time on language learning, crochet and whatever other hobbies pique my interest at that time.
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
